Eligibility Criteria

• Age: 18 Years+
• Sex: all
• Healthy Volunteers: No
• Age Groups: Adult (18-64), Older Adult (65+)
• Sampling Method: Non-Probability Sample

Study Population

All enrolled patients will undergo: * Detailed medical history taking including demographic data, comorbidities, smoking, alcohol intake, and possible etiological factors. * Complete clinical examination. * Laboratory investigations including CBC, liver function tests, kidney function tests, serum amylase, serum lipase, calcium profile, lipid profile, and CRP. * Radiological investigations including abdominal ultrasonography and CT abdomen when indicated. * Assessment of severity using Ranson score, APACHE II score and Revised Atlanta classification. * Follow-up during admission for complications, ICU admission, length of hospital stay, and mortality.

You may qualify if:

• \. Adult patients aged 18 years or older. 2. Patients fulfilling at least two diagnostic criteria of acute pancreatitis. 3. Patients willing to participate in the study.

You may not qualify if:

• Patients with chronic pancreatitis.
• Patients diagnosed with pancreatic malignancy.
• Patients less than 18 years old.
• Patients with incomplete clinical data.
• Refusal to participate. -
