Outcome Measures

Primary Outcomes (4)

  • Repeated sprint

    The Repeated Sprint Test consists of a sequence of maximal sprints (usually 6 to 10 sprints) over a distance of 20 to 40 meters, separated by 20 to 30 seconds of either passive or active recovery

  • Time to exhaustion test

    A Time to Exhaustion (TTE) test measures fatigue by determining how long an individual can sustain a specific workload (e.g., power output or speed) before becoming unable to continue

  • 6-minute submaximal run test:

    A 6-minute submaximal run test on a typical 400-meter outdoor track at a steady speed was used to estimate running economy.

Study Arms (2)

Group A

EXPERIMENTAL

13 participants will be in sprint interval training group, they will only perform repeated sprints exercise and will not perform continuous aerobic conditioning exercise.

Other: sprint interval training

Group B

EXPERIMENTAL

13 participants will be in continuous aerobic conditioning training group, they will only perform running exercise and will not perform repeated sprint exercise.

Other: Continuous aerobic conditioning

Interventions

13 participants will be in sprint interval training group, who will only perform repeated sprint exercise. 30m-all out sprint with repetitions

Group A

13 participants will be in continuous aerobic conditioning training group, who will only perform aerobic exercise. running along with increase duration.

Age18 Years - 30 Years
Sexall
Healthy VolunteersYes
Age GroupsAdult (18-64)

You may qualify if:

  • Age typically between 18 and 30 years old.
  • Participants are in good health and had no severe injuries during the last six months before the study
  • Non-smoker
  • Individual free from cardiovascular, metabolic disease

You may not qualify if:

  • Presence of any musculoskeletal injury or illness
  • Runners with irregular training schedules or inconsistent performance.
  • Use of medications that could impact exercise performance or safety.
  • Inability to commit to the training program or testing schedule.
