During active labor, when cervical dilation reaches 4-5 cm, 6-7 cm, and 8-9 cm.
Secondary Outcomes (1)
State Anxiety Scale
During active labor, when cervical dilation reaches 4-5 cm, 6-7 cm, and 8-9 cm.
Study Arms (2)
control group
SHAM COMPARATORPregnant women in the control group received routine midwifery care during childbirth and did not receive the mint gum chewing intervention.
min chewing gum group
ACTIVE COMPARATORparticipants in this group received mint chewing gum during labor according to the study protocol
