Brief Summary

The incidence of early-onset colorectal cancer (EOCRC; patients younger than 50 years) has increased worldwide over recent decades. This study aimed to provide nationwide evidence on surgically treated EOCRC in Switzerland.

Study Population

All patients with colorectal cancer resection in Switzerland between 2003 and 2022.

You may qualify if:

  • \- All patients with colorectal cancer resection in Switzerland between 2003 and 2022.

You may not qualify if:

  • incomplete case documentation
  • age under 15 years
  • other hospitals than general or surgical hospitals
  • no index operation
