The aim of the current project is to use deuterium-labelled glucose to assess exogenous glucose oxidation rates during exercise at moderate and high intensity.

Sexall
Healthy VolunteersYes
Age GroupsAdult (18-64), Older Adult (65+)

You may qualify if:

  • Endurance trained
  • Aged 18 to 65 years

You may not qualify if:

  • Contraindications to exercise
  • Unable to complete 2 hours of continuous cycling
