Brief Summary
Mechanical neck pain (MNP) refers to aches and pains in the cervical spine and around the cervicothoracic junction that do not have a specific anatomical or physical source. Multiple non-invasive physiotherapy methods can be used for treating MNP including bowen therapy and myofascial release therapy. Main objective of the study is to evaluate effect of bowen therapy in the treatment of MNP, improving range of motion and functional limitation among bankers of faisalabad

Bowen therapy
EXPERIMENTALMyofascial release technique
EXPERIMENTALInterventions
Bowen Therapy uses gentle rolling moves on muscles and fascia, with short pauses to stimulate healing . 3 sessions conducted weekly over a duration of 4 weeks
stroke massage lasting about 2-3 minutes will be administered. Each therapy session will be lasted for 20 minutes, with 3 sessions conducted weekly over a duration of 4 weeks
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if:
- Age 25-40
- Both Gender
- computer work for four hours every day
- Working experience of bank greater than 1 year in a bank
- Pain duration should be one month
- Pain score at NPRS 4-6
You may not qualify if:
- Cervical spine trauma
- Fracture, or surgery within the last 12 months
- Diagnosed cervical myelopathy
- Cervical radiculopathy
- Cancer
- Inflammatory or rheumatic illnesses
- Infection, or vascular syndromes

- Participant dont know about bowen and myofascial release which will they get during physiotherapy treatment. Just physiotherapist know which patient receive bowen and which have MFR. Assessor is also a physiotherapist whose role is to fill out the questionnaire after treatment has been done. The Assessor has no role in applying interventions
