Brief Summary

Personality traits and leadership styles among nurses influence professional behaviour, communication, clinical decision-making, teamwork, and quality of patient care. Training needs assessment is essential to identify competency gaps and improve nursing performance. This study aims to assess personality type, leadership style, and training needs among nurses working in a tertiary care hospital.

    Personality type will be assessed using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), which categorises participants into 16 personality types based on four dichotomies: Extraversion-Introversion, Sensing-Intuition, Thinking-Feeling, and Judging-Perceiving

Study Population

Nurses working in the selected tertiary care hospital

You may qualify if:

  • Registered Nurses (RNRM) working in the various departments (Ward, ICU and ER).
  • Having more than one year of experience.
  • Willing to participate in the study.
  • Involvement in leadership or supervisory roles.

You may not qualify if:

  • Nurses on Vacation, medical leave or maternity leave
