Personal Information Form
This form was prepared by the researchers to determine some sociodemographic characteristics of the participating students. The form consists of 6 questions regarding characteristics of the students' such as age, gender, and graduated high school.
one week
The Instructional Materials Motivation Scale
Investigators uses the five-point Likert scale: "strongly agree," "agree," "neutral," "disagree," and "strongly disagree". The original IMMS consisted of 36 questions and four dimensions (attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction). The Cronbach's α of the overall questionnaire is 0.96 and the Cronbach's α for each of the sub-dimensions ranges between 0.81 and 0.92. A Turkish version of IMMS was constructed from 24-items.
3 weeks
Academic Success Assessment (Quiz)
It is a 16 multiple-choice exam created by the researcher to measure the success of the students in the Nursing Process course. This exam lasted 18 minutes. Each question is worth 6.25 points.

İntervention Group
EXPERIMENTALStarting from the week following the pre-test application, online training will continue according to the Metaverse-based for a total of 3 weeks, two hours a week, for the intervention group. At the end of the 3 weeks, the Instructional Materials Motivation Scale and Academic Success Assessment (Quiz) will be re-administered as a post-test.
Control Group
NO INTERVENTIONThe subjects were explained by the instructor with the traditional e-teaching method. The subjects will be explained by the instructor with the traditional e-teaching method and as in the intervention group, the lectures were conducted online for two hours a week for 3 weeks. At the end of the 3 week, the post-tests of the Instruvtional Materials Motivation Scale and Academic Success Assessment (Quiz) will be apply in the control group simultaneously with the intervention group.
Interventions
The nursing process course will be conducted in a metaverse environment. A virtual classroom is designed in the metaverse space for the execution of this course. Starting from the week following the pre-test application, online training will continue according to the Metaverse-based for a total of 3 weeks, two hours a week, for the intervention group. At the end of the 3 weeks, the Instructional Materials Motivation Scale and Academic Success Assessment (Quiz) will be re-administered as a post-test.
