Primary Outcomes (1)

• Memory Impairment

  The primary outcome measure on a 50 item Continuous Recognition Task with 25 repeated items, first display of an item is 3 seconds, new image immediately after a response (MemTrax, see: reference), is number of HITs (a memory measure). Less than 20 suggests memory impairment and will trigger referral to a memory study.

  90 seconds to 150 seconds (normal less than 100 seconds)

Secondary Outcomes (1)

• Processing speed measurement with MemTrax

  90 - 150 seconds (normal - 95 seconds)

Study Arms (1)

Older Adults

Persons over age 60 Participants will complete the Memtrax memory screening test

Behavioral: Memtrax Memory screening test

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: 21 Years+
• Sex: all
• Healthy Volunteers: Yes
• Age Groups: Adult (18-64), Older Adult (65+)
• Sampling Method: Probability Sample

Study Population

healthy older adults with memory concerns

You may qualify if:

• Age 21 or over.

You may not qualify if:

• Major psychiatric problems.
• Major medical problems.
• Aversion to test-taking.
