Study Arms (1)
Single cohort: Multiple Sclerosis Patients
Patients with confirmed multiple sclerosis who will undergo gait analysis, cognitive testing, visual evoked potential assessment, and MRI review in a single visit.
Eligibility Criteria
Patients with multiple sclerosis attending the Neurology Department outpatient clinic and gait laboratory at Assiut University.
You may qualify if:
- \- Age 18 to 55 years
- Confirmed diagnosis of multiple sclerosis according to the revised McDonald criteria
- Clinically stable (no relapse or steroid treatment within 4 weeks)
- Able to walk independently with or without a single assistive device
- Written informed consent
You may not qualify if:
- \- Other neurological, orthopedic, visual, or vestibular conditions affecting gait
- Severe cognitive impairment precluding valid testing
- Pregnancy
- MRI contraindications
- Ocular disease unrelated to multiple sclerosis
