NCT07840781

Brief Summary

This study aims to investigate the effects of a cognitive game-based exercise program on cognitive and physical performance in amputee football players. Participants will complete a structured exercise program incorporating cognitive game activities designed to simultaneously stimulate cognitive and motor functions. Cognitive and physical performance outcomes will be assessed before and after the intervention. The findings are expected to provide evidence regarding the potential benefits of integrating cognitive game-based activities into exercise and rehabilitation programs for amputee football players.

Outcome Measures

Primary Outcomes (1)

  • Stroop Test Performance

Cognitive inhibitory control and selective attention will be assessed using the Stroop Test. Completion time will be recorded in seconds, and the number of errors will also be recorded. Changes from baseline to post-intervention will be evaluated

Baseline and immediately after completion of the intervention

Secondary Outcomes (1)

  • Secondary Outcome Measure - Illinois Agility Test Performance

Baseline and immediately after completion of the intervention

Study Arms (2)

Experimental Arm - Gince Cognitive Game-Based Exercise Group

EXPERIMENTAL

Participants in this group will receive the Gince cognitive game-based exercise program in addition to their usual amputee football training. The program is designed to improve cognitive and physical performance through structured game-based activities.

Other: Gince Intelligence Game-Based Exercise Program

Control Arm - Usual Training Group:

EXPERIMENTAL

Participants in this group will continue their usual amputee football training without receiving the Gince cognitive game-based exercise program during the intervention period.

Other: Routine Training Group

Interventions

The intervention consists of a 10-session cognitive game-based exercise program using the Gince Intelligence Game. The program is administered in addition to routine amputee football training and is designed to stimulate cognitive and physical performance through game-based activities.

Experimental Arm - Gince Cognitive Game-Based Exercise Group

Participants will continue their usual amputee football training program throughout the study period without receiving the additional Gince Intelligence Game-based exercise intervention.

Also known as: Routine Amputee Football Training
