    Proportion of children presenting to the pediatric emergency department who are diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia based on 12-lead ECG.

Single cohort: Children presenting to pediatric ED

Children aged 1 month to 18 years presenting to the Emergency Department with symptoms suggestive of cardiac arrhythmia who will undergo ECG and clinical assessment.

Study Population

Children aged 1 month to 18 years presenting to the Emergency Department of Assiut University Children Hospital with symptoms suggestive of cardiac arrhythmia.

You may qualify if:

  • Age from 1 month to 18 years
  • Presenting with palpitation, chest pain, syncope, dyspnea, or respiratory distress
  • Written informed consent from parents or legal guardians

You may not qualify if:

  • Age below 1 month
