Brief Summary

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the two orthodontic bracket systems namely MBT and the Pitts21 for maxillary anterior decrowding, initial alignment as well as the smile arc correction in 6 month period.

Eligibility Criteria

Age13 Years - 40 Years
Sexall
Healthy VolunteersYes
Age GroupsChild (0-17), Adult (18-64)

You may qualify if:

  • mild to moderate maxillary anterior irregularity
  • indication for non-extraction orthodontic treatment
  • presence of all permanent teeth up to the first molars
  • healthy periodontal status and good oral hygiene; and
  • age between 13 and 40 year

You may not qualify if:

  • craniofacial anomalies or cleft lip/palate
  • hypodontia or hyperdontia
  • systemic diseases or bone disorders affecting tooth movement;
  • tooth size anomalies
