This work aimed to study some epidemiological features and the clinical profile of patients having psoriasis visiting the Dermatology and Venereology departments of Tanta University Hospitals and to assess the impact of disease on their quality of life.

Outcome Measures

Primary Outcomes (1)

• Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI)

  Patients completed the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI), which includes 10 questions and is designed for use in adults. Each question is scored on a 4-point scale from 0 ("Not at all") to 3 ("Very much") to assess the past seven days, providing a total score ranging from 0 to 30: 0 - 1: No effect at all on patient's life. 2 - 5: Small effect on patient's life. 6 - 10: Moderate effect on patient's life. 11 - 20: Very large effect on patient's life. 21 - 30: Extremely large effect on patient's life.

  Six months after the survey.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: 18 Years+
• Sex: all
• Healthy Volunteers: No
• Age Groups: Adult (18-64), Older Adult (65+)
• Sampling Method: Non-Probability Sample

Study Population

The study is a cross-sectional study to detect some clinical, epidemiological as well as Quality of Life-related features of psoriasis. All included patients will be collected from the outpatient clinic of The Dermatology \& Venereology Department, Tanta University Hospitals.

You may qualify if:

• Psoriatic patients of both genders aged ≥18 years old.
• Patients accepted to be enrolled in this study.

You may not qualify if:

• \- Patients below 18 years old.
