Primary Outcomes (2)

  • Pain score(VAS score) after 15 minutes of either intervention before spinal anesthesia

  • Quality of positioning for spinal anesthesia after 15 minutes of either intervention

    Scale of 0-3 for hip flexion while sitting after either intervention 0=not satisfactory (poor hip flexion) 1. satisfactory (slight hip flexion) 2. good (adequate hip flexion) 3. optimal (excellent hip flexion)

  • Assessment of heart rate
