Number and proportion of patients diagnosed with colon or rectal cancers within study period in sohag, Egypt
To determine prevalence of colorectal cancers in sohag, Egypt
Retrospective review from 2015 to 2025
Correlation between baseline serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) levels and tumor stage (TNM classification)
To assess the association between serum CEA levels and disease severity
As recorded at diagnosis
Association between personal risk factors (e.g, age, sex, lifestyle habits, comorbidities) and tumor stage at diagnosis
To identify risk factors associated with more advanced disease
based on initial diagnosis records from 2015 to 2025

Patients with colorectal cancers
Patients more than 18 years old with colorectal cancers
Interventions
Eligibility Criteria
Study will be carried on patients more than 18 diagnosed as colon or rectal cancer supported by histopathological result
You may qualify if:
- patients aged 18 years old and above
- patients with confirmed diagnosis of colon or rectal cancer ,supported by histopathological result
You may not qualify if:
- patients with missed pathological or endoscopic data
- patients diagnosed with other malignancies rather than colorectal cancers
