to investigate the effect of mobile phone addiction with forward head posture on the endurance of deep neck flexor muscles, respiratory functions, pain pressure threshold , and neck functional disability level.

Outcome Measures

Primary Outcomes (2)

• Pain pressure threshold

  Pain pressure threshold will be measured by pressure algometer

  one week

• Respiratory functions

  Respiratory functions including tidal volume and total lung capacity will be measured by incentive spirometer

  one week

Secondary Outcomes (2)

• Endurance of deep neck flexor muscles

  one week

• Neck functional disability level

  one week

Study Arms (2)

Group A Not addicted to mobile phone

Addicted to mobile phone less than four hours per day.

Group B addicted to mobile phone

Addicted to mobile phone more than four hours per day.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: 18 Years - 40 Years
• Sex: all
• Healthy Volunteers: Yes
• Age Groups: Adult (18-64)
• Sampling Method: Probability Sample

Study Population

Adult both gender males and females, normal BMI, normal and forward head posture participants, addicted and not addicted to mobile phoine will be included in the study.

You may qualify if:

• Forward head with craniovertebral angle less than 50 degree.
• Both sexes will participate in this study.
• Their age will be ranging from 18-40years (Molaeifar et al., 2021).
• Body mass index is ranged from 18-25 kg /m2 (Molaeifar et al., 2021).
• Area of mobile phone is 17 × 8cm.
• Participants will be randomly allocated into 2 groups, group (A) should not have addicted to mobile phone and group (B) should have addicted to mobile phone.

You may not qualify if:

• Previous cervical operation.
• Musculoskeletal disorders such as cervical spine fracture, myelopathy, spinal cord tumor.
• Neurological conditions that affected head, neck, and upper limbs.
• Cervical disc or spondylosis.
• Respiratory diseases such as Restrictions in lung function.
