Study Population

20 patients admitted to hospital due to acute ischemic stroke and were delayed to receive thrombolytic therapy. Family or caregivers who had involved in the process of decision making were also invited to the interview.

You may qualify if:

  • patients with confirmed acute ischemic stroke by brain image and were able to communicate in Mandarin or Taiwanese.

You may not qualify if:

  • patients who had cerebral hemorrhage, aphasia, cognitive dysfunction or severe stroke with unstable vital sign.
