Healthy VolunteersNo
Age GroupsAdult (18-64), Older Adult (65+)

You may qualify if:

  • persistent AF (electrical cardioversion is planned)
  • written informed consent

You may not qualify if:

  • acute clinical signs of venous thromboembolism
  • current oral anticoagulation
  • indication for medical cardioversion
