Outcome Measures

Primary Outcomes (1)

  • Tool II: Numeric Pain Rating Scale:

It developed by McCaffery et al., (1989) to assess the severity of pain. Commonly used to measure pain severity using a 0-10 scale, with 0 being no pain at all and 10 being worst pain imaginable. Description intensity ranging from "zero" refer to no pain, " 1-3" refer to mild pain, " 4-6" refer to moderate pain, and "7-10" refer to severe pain.

    3 month

Secondary Outcomes (3)

  • Tool III: Oswestry Disability Index (ODI):

    3 month

  • Pain Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (PSEQ)

    3 month

  • impact of health on an individual's everyday life

    3 month

Study Arms (2)

study group

EXPERIMENTAL

\- "The intervention consisted of a structured nurse-led core stability program incorporating static holds (e.g., Plank, Bridge, and Bird Dog) and dynamic strengthening exercises (e.g., Russian Twist and Bicycle Crunches), performed in 2-3 sets of 5-15 repetitions or 15-60 second holds, 3-4 times per week for 10-12 weeks."

Other: core stability

control

NO INTERVENTION

• Control group will receive the routine care.

Eligibility Criteria

Age20 Years - 80 Years
Sexall
Healthy VolunteersYes
Age GroupsAdult (18-64), Older Adult (65+)

You may qualify if:

  • Randomized sample of 120 patients of both sexes who will be between the ages of 20 and 80 years, diagnosed with low back pain, willing to participate and able to communicate with others will be eligible to participate in this study. Potential participants will be excluded if they are physically or mentally handicapped, disoriented \& comatose.
  • Participants were randomized into two groups using a 1:1 allocation ratio. Randomization was achieved via a permuted block design with blocks of four to ensure balanced group sizes throughout the study. The randomization sequence was generated using a random number table by a researcher independent of the clinical team.

You may not qualify if:

  • Participants will be excluded if they have specific spinal pathology including spinal fracture, tumor, infection, inflammatory spinal disease (e.g., ankylosing spondylitis) or neurological deficits, previous spinal surgery (History of lumbar spine surgery within the past 12 months), Psychiatric or cognitive disorders and severe comorbid conditions such as uncontrolled cardiovascular, respiratory, or metabolic disease.
