Brief Summary
This study aims to translate and culturally adapt the Ro Allison Indiana Dhurandhar Food Noise Inventory (RAID-FN) into Hindi and evaluate its psychometric properties in Indian adults. Following Ethics Committee approval and informed consent, eligible participants will complete a paper-based, self-administered survey including the Hindi RAID-FN, validation measures, and demographic information. A subset of participants will complete the questionnaire again after a short interval to assess test-retest reliability. The Hindi RAID-FN uses a 5-point Likert scale to measure food noise experienced "right now," consistent with the validated recall period. Reliability, validity, and scoring of the total scale and subscales will be evaluated according to published guidelines. The study will provide the first validated Hindi version of the RAID-FN and generate evidence on the prevalence and characteristics of food noise among Indian adults.

Primary Outcomes (1)
Ro Allison Indiana Dhurandhar Food Noise Inventory (RAID-FN)
Participants will complete the Hindi-translated RAID-FN (Long Form and/or Short Form). Items are rated on a 5-point Likert scale (1 = "Not at all like me" to 5 = "Very much like me"). The questionnaire assesses food noise "right now," which is the recall period validated in prior work. Scores will be calculated using the mean item responses for the total scale and subscales, consistent with published scoring guidance.
