Primary Outcomes (4)

  • The level of awareness of dermatological risks associated with tattooing and body piercing among medical students

    This includes knowledge regarding complications such as: Infections, Allergic reactions, Keloid or hypertrohic scar. Categorized knowledge level (adequate vs. inadequate) is based on a chi-square test for knowledge (yes/no).

The study population consisted of medical students enrolled in all academic years (1st to 6th year) at the Faculty of Medicine

  • Voluntary participation

  • Incomplete questionnaires
