patients with trochanteric fracture treated with DHS

Procedure: dynamic hip screw

DHS with Trochanteric stabilizing plate

patients with trochanteric fracture treated with DHS with trochanteric stabilizing plate

Procedure: dynamic hip screw

Interventions

using dynamic hip screw in treatment of trochanteric fracture and dynamic hip screw with trochanteric stabilizing plate

Eligibility Criteria

Age40 Years+
Sexall
Healthy VolunteersYes
Age GroupsAdult (18-64), Older Adult (65+)

You may qualify if:

  • pateints with comminution of medial femoral cortex and loss of continuity of lesser trochanter

You may not qualify if:

  • stable trochanteric fracture subtrochanteric extension reverse oblique trochanteric fracture
