The Ewha Birth and Growth Study is a prospective birth cohort established at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Primary Outcomes (1)
Physical growth assessed by anthropometric measurements
Anthropometric measurements were obtained during scheduled follow-up examinations to assess longitudinal physical growth. Participants received individualized health examination results following the assessments.
At 3 and 5 years of age; annually from 7 through 12 years of age; at 13 to 15 years of age; and at 19 years of age

Blood pressure assessed during follow-up examinations

Metabolic biomarkers assessed during follow-up examinations

Eligibility Criteria
Pregnant women recruited during prenatal care and their offspring followed longitudinally from birth through young adulthood.
You may qualify if:
- Pregnant women who received prenatal care between 24 and 28 weeks of gestation and were enrolled between 2001 and 2006.
- Individuals who could participate in scheduled follow-up examinations and comply with the study requirements.
You may not qualify if:
- \- Individuals considered unable to participate in the study procedures for other reasons, based on the investigator's judgement.
